Best moment of the week: Finding out Freshly Picked was having their once yearly sale today 🙂

Recent iPhone Photos

April is over and it’s half way through May! Time to upload some of my recent iPhone photos so I don’t forget 🙂

We’ve been to the movies a lot this winter and spring. Lucy loves to stop and pose in front of all the kid movie displays.

IMG_1189 IMG_1191We also took the girls to the drive-in for the first time this season. Not sure how many more times we’ll be able to go this summer. I was already pretty uncomfortable sitting in the car for that long!

We did our yard clean up. Well, Jon did. I pretty much stood there with the hose making sure that the forest didn’t catch on fire.

IMG_1200We were psyched to hear that Riley’s State Gymnastic Competition was up here at our high school this year. We got to see her in action (she’s awesome) and then got to spend the day with them. LOVE LOVE LOVE our Desmarais girls!!

IMG_1210Lucy had her first grade play at school. She played the Mom. She did an excellent job!! She had quite a crowd come and see her too. She called us all “her people”.

She helped design the t-shirt that everyone wore. She drew the car.

IMG_1215When I was pregnant with Megan and worked down the hall from Jon, he would deliver these to my desk every afternoon. They were called Big Kats back then and were my biggest craving!! He brought me home a couple last week. 🙂 Wonder why that scale keeps going up…..

IMG_1223The weather has been BEAUTIFUL!! But, I haven’t been able to enjoy any of it because of my allergies. They are SO bad this year!!

IMG_1232 IMG_1236Emma is home for the summer!!!

IMG_1233 IMG_1235She celebrated her 19th birthday! That’s a pretty sad looking cake but we really did have a nice couple of days. I drove down on her actual birthday and took her shopping and out for lunch. She moved back home the following day. So nice having her back here and having my dinner table  full at night again (one of my favorite things).

IMG_1280Yesterday was Mother’s Day. It was also Emma’s first day back at her old job so that’s why she isn’t pictured. It was a wonderful day!! My favorite part of the day was when we first woke up. All the girls came into my bed with their cards and gifts and we sat there talking and laughing. Little baby boy kicked the entire time. Made this mama’s heart SO full!! It was a perfect start to a wonderful day. We drove down to see both our moms. Then headed to Newport. It was so nice to be able to be outside breathing in that ocean air!!

Bump Update 18 Weeks!

Baby is the size of: a sweet potato (according to The Bump) The girls actually took a sweet potato out of the closet to inspect it and I can’t believe he’s that big already!!

Total Weight Gain: 8 pounds

The Bump: It’s BIG and I have 22 weeks left to go!! It’s so much bigger, so much earlier this time!!

Food Cravings: Chocolate croissants! But not any chocolate croissants! I want one from Portobello Road in London. Also, watermelon, ice cream and pork chops with barbecue sauce. Weird because I usually hate pork chops AND barbecue sauce.

Sleep: I’m back to not sleeping again!!

What I miss: Sleep

Names: Sigh…. no……

Gender: Boy!

Movement: A few kicks here and there but nothing consistent.

Maternity Clothes: Yes! Living in my maternity skirts and tops these days!!

Labor Signs: No way!

Best moment of the week: The beautiful weather we’re having. We turned the sprinklers on this weekend and had fun watching Lucy run through them.

Worst moment of the week: With the beautiful weather comes all the pollen and I’ve been pretty miserable all day.

What I’m excited about and looking forward to: Friday!!!!! I have my ultrasound and midwife appointment on Friday morning. Also, Emma will be home for the summer!!

Purchases: 2 packs of diapers. Honest Company and Seventh Generation. I used the SG ones with Lucy and loved them but thought I would give Honest a shot. I also want to try the Babyganics (I’ve heard great things about them)

Baby’s room: I have a few ideas 🙂
