Hope everyone had a nice Easter! We had a great day with both sides of the family this year! We did miss my brother Craig and nephew Colton, though.

I forgot how exciting Easter can be for a 5 year old. She was excited all week!

Holidays are officially over. On to birthday season!!

Carnival

I’m not a huge fan of the carnival at all! But every year it comes to town and every year it parks it’s self on town field. Town field is in front of the school so there is no avoiding it. Don’t get me wrong, I love rides, cotton candy and happy children. I just love them some place other then the carnival. Jon and the girls talked me into going this year and look what happened:

That’s me having fun at the carnival!! This was the Sizzler ride. We laughed like fools on that ride, it was so much fun!!

I’m glad that we went this year. It was a lot of fun and small enough to be done with in an hour. We had a lot of laughs, I got some cute pictures and we ate a huge bag of cotton candy! What’s better then that?

A Night At the Park

The other night while Chloe was at her guitar lesson and Emma at her away tennis match and Megan at her lacrosse practice, I got to spend some quality time with little Lucy at the playground.

Our Weekend

It was finally nice enough to go to the park!

We spent most of our weekend outside. Jon and I have been walking and hiking a LOT lately!! Yesterday we went in the morning and then again in the afternoon.

It’s so quiet and peaceful walking around here. Oh wait, what’s that up ahead in the snow?

Easter

Happy Easter! We stayed home for Easter this year. We spent the day eating and hunting for eggs. Lucy just reminded me that we didn’t do pictures with the Easter bunny this year. Oh well! The bunnies, eggs and baskets were all packed up before Lucy even got out of bed this morning. The holidays are officially over. Birthday season starts in a month!

First Day of Spring

I wish it was 80 degrees. It’s not. I wish I was on a beach. I’m not. I wish I was skinnier. I’m not. Ha! Ha!

As much as I’ve complained about winter this year, I have to admit that it really doesn’t get any more beautiful then this:

I also have to admit that I love when we have snow days. I love that I get trapped in the house with Jon and the girls. It’s great having no where to be on those days. Except last night when I had to drive in the storm to take Megan to Lacrosse practice. And every Monday when I had to drive in the snow to take Chloe to guitar lessons. I love when people honk their horns at me and flip me the bird for driving too slow. Ok, I’m ready for spring!
