Lucy and I just spent the last half hour looking through discs that have our old pictures on them. I would like to know how my kids went from this:
So quickly?!
That first picture was taken 4 years ago. They’re growing too fast 😦
Having Jon home on vacation is exhausting!! We have been going nonstop since he’s been home. We’ve been to the beach a bunch of times, Maine, Provincetown, Newport, RI, parties, Gillette Stadium, school shopping at the mall and outlets a couple of times and out to eat too many times!! My legs and my credit card are exhausted. BUT he has to go back to work on Monday and I am going to miss him. No seriously, I LOVE having him around. He helps with the kids and loves to cook so that’s been a huge plus! I’ve been slacking on the housework because we’re never around and if we are, I’m too tired to do anything. I guess I can start on the cleaning and laundry on Monday. I can’t wait until he has another week off.
Chloe decided to go with a Christmas themed birthday party this year. I had so much fun with this one. It was probably the easiest party all season. I had all the decorations in the attic already. I made a turkey with all the sides instead of having Jon stand at the grill and we had Christmas music playing throughout the house. It was so much fun!!
We are celebrating Chloe’s 10th birthday today. She and I woke up early and made a red velvet cake. YUM! I love these pictures of the girls when they woke up this morning.
This is the moment that we surprised them with another Disney trip. I just love their faces!!
After the excitement of the morning we hopped in the car and headed to Gillette Stadium to meet Mimi and Baba. We took them all to the Patriot’s Hall of Fame and then out to lunch at Toby Keith’s I love this bar and Grille. We had such a great day.
Happy Birthday Chloe!! I hope this year is filled with enjoyable moments!!
Love, Mom
I’ve been taking a lot of pictures of the girls “working” with me in the kitchen. I love that they want to help out and learn. I also love Lucy in this chef hat!!
We made chocolate chip cookies today and they are SOOOO good!!
I am constantly taking their pictures because I just want to remember all these wonderful moments!
Every January/February I start to long for the taste of summer. I don’t mean just the beach and sun. I start to imagine myself sitting on the deck with a nice cold drink while Jon stands at the grill. Mmmm…. here are a few of our recent summer meals. Enjoy!!
Lobster!!
Ribs!
Root beer floats!
Steaks and grilled veggies!
Summer goes so fast, enjoy each moment.

Every year we look forward to celebrating the 4th of July in this little town of ours. This year after the parade we went to a friend’s party. We had such a wonderful time with some great friends. We enjoyed the pool, a 3 legged race and a watermelon eating contest. After the party we finished off with some amazing fireworks.
I hope you all enjoyed each moment of your 4th of July Celebration!!

I found this on Pinterest today:
Because it’s summer and the memories are just waiting to happen……….
Enjoy each moment,

Summer is finally here!! We had such a nice weekend with the girls. Saturday Megan’s select chorus had a concert at the farmer’s market.
While she sang we took Lucy and Chloe to the playground for a little while and then we walked around and bought some yummy fresh veggies and organic meat. I look forward to stopping every Saturday this summer.

After the farmer’s market we rushed home to Megan’s 12th birthday party. She had her 5 best friends come a little bit earlier then the other kids to do a time capsule. It was a very sweet idea. They wrote each other letters and included some photos. Jon buried this in the backyard with an opening date of June 2018.
After the party we made some s’mores with the girls and Megan’s friend Paige.
We ended the weekend with picking raspberries before bed.

We really are enjoying all these summer moments.
