Another day that went by in the blink of an eye. I’ve been pretty emotional lately with all of these end of the school year things so I’m just going to let the pictures tell the story

I was so excited when she texted me that her and Alex got prom king and queen

She’s as pretty on the inside as she is on the outside. She is one of the most caring, loyal and honest people out there and NO one deserved that more than her.

I had to add that last picture of her and her favorite teacher. Now it’s on to graduation. I told her I probably won’t stop tearing up through the day until Thanksgiving break. Love you, my Meggie 💕

End of April

Let’s get caught up on the end of April before all the hoopla begins! May and June are hands down my busiest months! May starts Friary Family birthday season. We have 6 months straight of birthdays in this house. Throw in prom, graduation, graduation parties, confirmation and all of the end of the school year activities and we are pretty much out straight. But, you all know that I LOVE it!! We have such a fun summer planned and I’m sure it’ll be here before I know it.

Let’s just take a look at some of the pictures I’ve taken over the last 2 weeks first

This boy is growing like a weed!! He is SO smart and SO funny!! I LOVE moments like those pictured above because I know that before I know it I’ll be writing about his graduation. He wants me to rock him to sleep before every nap and every night before bed so I’m just going to sit here and soak it all in.

The weather is starting to get nice so we’ve been spending as much time outside as possible.

We took a Happy Meal to Lucy the other day and Beckett was in Heaven!! He loves being around her and her friends. The girls always have friends over and he is always the center of attention. Ha!

SOOOO cute!

Love these girls!

My boys!

That picture above was posted by Tori Spelling this week. I have to admit, he is just the cutest little guy EVER!! Instagram has been keeping me SO busy lately!! I just got offered my 8th collaboration of the year. So exciting!! Come visit me over there at

Happy May!!

We took Megan and her friend up to Maine to look at UNE. Normally Jon is the one to take the girls on these college tours but we decided this time to make it a family affair. Ha! Sorry, Megs! I’m sure Marina loved a big ole family road trip with the Friary’s.

I’ll admit, I wanted to go because I wanted to spend a few hours up in Portland. We missed going up to Maine this summer and I think we were all craving donuts from Holy Donuts

Marina’s cousin just opened an organic cosmetic shop so we stopped in there because the girls had ordered some cheer makeup

Super cute shop! And, I love stores that have things to entertain kids while you shop!

We stopped at this place called Flatbreads for lunch and it was probably the best pizza we’ve ever had! Will definitely remember that place for next summer

It was a fun way to end our summer vacation. I’m not ready for all of the college hoopla that we’ll be going through over the next year but as much as I try, I can’t slow down time.

I’m just thankful that I have this little guy who makes me feel young 😊

Life, This Week

I have 600+ photos on my phone from the last 10 days. This summer has been kinda funny, we’re either really busy or really bored. The weather this week has been horrible!! Hello… 58 degrees yesterday!! So the past few days definitely fall into the boring category.

Last week we spent the afternoon and evening with Kirsten and her family. They just put in a new pool and the kids had a blast!

I just love that picture up above of Kirsten feeding our babies. We’ve been friends since fifth grade and have gone through EVERYTHING together. Those two sweet little babes are our rainbow babies ❤️

We had a ton of fun that day and maybe a little too much wine

Before the weather turned spring like, it was HOT HOT HOT!!

He was hamming  it up until he heard something in the woods

Getting all five of these kids to sit down and take a picture for me has been hard lately! Seems like someone is always missing.

Sometimes I find cute selfies on my phone and I want to keep them forever because I know that next year this little girl will be off to college and I won’t find these gems from her anymore

Beckett and I are always taking selfies too!

Speaking of Beckett, this little boy has hit the toddler picky eating phase. It is so hard to get food into this boy lately!! It’s frustrating because he used to be such a great eater and now I’m constantly worried that he’s not getting enough calories throughout the day. Yesterday he sat down and ate about 30 mini pretzel sticks with hummus. Yay!!

I heard about a frozen yogurt place that sells Dole pineapple soft serve, like the kind I obsess over in Disney, so we took a ride out there to see if it was any good. It was absolutely delicious!! If it was 20 degrees warmer I would’ve closed my eyes and pretended I was in the Magic Kingdom.

Lucy started gymnastics this week and she’s loving it!! She and her friend got moved up to the 10 year old class so she’ll start that next week.

I have to throw this last picture in here because Beckett was climbing the rails while I was on the computer and I kept telling him to get down. He would turn his little face around, look me right in the eyes and yell “get down”. like he was totally mocking me. He’s such a little stinker!!

Let’s hope that the weather starts to warm up so we can get on with all the fun summer activities we have waited all year for.

Happy Weekend!!

Our thankful tree is so full that it fell off the wall today! It’s fun to see all of the things that the girls are thankful for this year. Things like their sisters, their friends, their parents, You tube, candy, sports and their animals. The list is HUGE! Over 100 leaves on the tree this year.

This year, like every year, I am most thankful for the special people in my life.

Like my friends who love my kids and always make a big deal out of them:

My inlaws who treat me like their daughter:

My mom and dad, the 9am phone calls are one of my favorite parts of the day.

They love us more then anything and we can feel it

My girls:Image

I’m thankful everyday that I’m their mother and that I get to stay home with them. There is nothing in the world more important to me then my family. Being able to stay home and take care of them has been one of the biggest blessings in my life.

I’m thankful that I get to be married to my best friend. I’m thankful for him every day for doing his job, and doing it well. So that I can stay home and raise our girls.

I love you, Jon.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Old Friends

Kirsten came up today with Nicholas and Sarah. I love being able to sit and catch up with an old friend while the kids play. Over the last few years Kirsten and I would get together with Nicholas and Lucy while all the big sisters were at school. It’s been many months since we’ve gotten together with them but they played perfectly together! It’s been a few years since Sarah saw the girls but she fit in with them like no time has passed at all. Old friends, just like their mamas. ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Monday Morning and Megan’s Semi

I thought Megan and Chloe looked so cute this morning that I had to take their pictures. Emma looked pretty cute today too but I was half asleep when she left. ImageImage

Looks like these two are excited to go to school today!Image

Megan had her first semi formal this weekend. She went with her friend Paige and had a great time. ImageImageImage

Happy Monday!

Old Pictures and Good Friends

Yesterday Tracey and I spent the afternoon looking through old pictures of our girls (nothing like a good torture on a Wednesday afternoon). Here are some of the pictures she sent to me

I’m a sucker for car seat photos!ImageImage

Awe! Babies on the beach!

I love Lucy’s face in that one!

I’m not sure if I felt better or worse after looking at all of these pictures. But I do know that I am so thankful for a friend like Tracey. It’s so nice sharing all of these memories of our girls together.

A Visit From an Old Friend

My girls think that Kristen Commodore is the best thing ever! They have been talking to her for the last couple of years over emails, tweets and Instagram. Kristen is living in Hollywood pursuing a music career. Her CD is one of their favorites! She is in town for a few weeks so she came to spend the day with us yesterday. The girls were excited to finally meet her and I loved getting to spend the day with an old friend. She brought her big makeup bag for the girls to go through. I think Megan was in makeup Heaven.

I even let her try a smokey eye on meImage

Thanks for visiting with us Kristen. See you soon!

Birds and Glam

We started off the weekend by attending Megan’s play Seussical the Musical. It was SO good!! We are so proud of our little “bird girl”ImageImage

(loved the tails!)

Megan with one of her besties

We are so proud of you Megan! You did such a great job!!!

Emma had her junior year (WHAT????!!!!!!) Semi Formal last night. She looked so beautiful!!

And because there was a camera out Lucy thought it was for her. Whatever! I couldn’t resist!!!
