Pre 4th Festivities

This is one of my favorite Instagram weekends! I love seeing all the cute little babies and kids all decked out in their red, white and blue outfits celebrating our great country! You all know I’m a sucker for traditions and this weekend we had our town parade and fireworks. Such a fun day!!

My Patriotic babies

Emma and Colin

A cute dancing baby and his equally as cute daddy

Beckett wasn’t a huge fan of the fireworks. He moved from person to person burying his head in their neck to pretend that the sky wasn’t exploding with fire. He didn’t cry but he was definitely not a fan!

As you can see we were short another child during the festivities. We missed you, Megan! We did get to meet up with our friends at both the parade and fireworks, though. It was a really great way to kick off summer!!

Happy Independence Day 🇺🇸

Gillette Stadium

A few pictures from our annual trip to Gillette with the kids. Some of the kids.

I have to admit that it’s a little sad not having the whole crew together when we go off on these family outings. But, we still had a GREAT time with these three

 loved seeing all FIVE trophies!!

Beckett was so cute! He kept throwing his hands up in the air and yelling Touchdown! So funny that he remembered that from the season.

I started taking these Wilfork pictures while Beckett was in my belly 💗

After walking around the Hall of Fame (and yes I cried during the movie….again) we stopped for lunch at Patriot Place

I probably shouldn’t say this out loud but I am SO ready for football season to begin!! LOVE me so Patriot football!

I’m trying to convince Jon into buying me Patriot tickets for my birthday. He’d rather watch from home but I HAVE to go to one this year!!

Last Day of School

Just like that another year is over. I can’t believe that my little Lu is going to be a fourth grader. Where does the time go??

She honestly wasn’t that excited for school to end this year. She LOVES being able to spend the day with her friends!! She loved her teacher this year, too! Luckily one of her very best friends, Carleigh, lives right across the street.

We have a tradition of going out for ice cream on the last day of school. This is the first year that it was just the two of us. Her sisters finished up last week and changed the ice cream tradition to pizza.

I’m definitely looking forward to our summer traditions and lazy mornings but I really wish time would slow down a little. Next year at this time I’ll be crying over the fact that this little girl will be heading off to middle school. Gulp….

Today is Lucy’s last day of third grade. I know I say it every year but this has GOT to be the fastest year EVER!!

Jon took Emma, Megan and Chloe to the Red Sox game the other night

I had a very nice, relaxing night with Lucy and Beck. I bought Beck his very first Happy Meal. He wasn’t impressed

He follows her all over the house. The other morning when we went to wake Lucy up he crawled in bed with her

Jon and I took our weekly (sometimes biweekly) date to our favorite restaurant and yes, I ordered the same thing AGAIN. It’s actually the only thing I get there because it’s my FAVORITE

A few more photos from the week

Summer vacation officially starts for us in 1.5 hours!!!

Weekly Photos

Lucy had field day last week. It was 95 degrees and humid. Not exactly the kind of day you want to be hopping around in a potato sack but these kids had a blast!

She also had her third grade play. It was a cute little musical on discovery.

She also celebrated her birthday with her friends. They made tshirts, ice cream sundaes and swam in the pool. Let me tell you that nine year olds are SOOO fun!! She has the cutest group of friends!

We celebrated Fathers Day this weekend with this great guy and our two wonderful grandfathers.

Megan and Chloe are finally wrapping up school this week with finals and half days. Lucy has to go until next Tuesday. Boo! But it feels like summer is already in full swing around here. LOVE having everyone around during the day! Let’s just hope that the summer doesn’t go by as fast as the school year has.

Zoo Day

He needed a day to just be a toddler

They all did

And we needed a day to sit back and enjoy these cute toddlers because these days are going by so fast. We have 12 kids between us and have shared our last two pregnancies together. These babies all came 7 years after their youngest siblings and are constantly thrown into the big kid world. It was nice to slow down a little yesterday and enjoy their babyhood. Together.

It was 94 degrees out and we all realized how out of shape we were pushing these babies up and down hills but we all got that much needed mommy, baby, friend date. SO much fun! 💗

Summa weekend

Summa, summa, summa time….. all I can hear is Will Smith singing in my head right now. What a FANTASTIC summer weekend! Jon had Friday off so we did all of our running around so that we could spend the weekend relaxing

The girls were all off doing their own things on Friday night so Jon and I sat on the deck and relaxed together

That was until Beckett started calling out to Jon and he couldn’t resist

He is pretty darn irresistible

We spent the entire day out in the yard on Saturday. We sat by the sandbox and had our coffee while Beckett and Lucy played. It was so relaxing that we decided to do it again this morning.

Last night the seven of us went mini golfing. It’s been so long since we’ve all had a night out together and it was a blast!! We all laughed our butts off at each other and it was just honestly such a perfect night.

We spent the entire day outside again today. Emma and Megan worked and Chloe went off for a little while with a friend. I’m gonna soak in all of these random Saturday night dates when I can because I know how hard it’s getting to have all of us together.

I am so ready for the girls to be out of school for the summer!!
