I’m so happy they let me take their picture!!
I love these girls SO much!
One of my favorite places in this town is this little farm stand on the side of the road. We stop here a couple times a week in late summer. The setting of the place is gorgeous!! Last night I needed tomatoes for my dinner so we drove by and sure enough he had a couple of baskets full of tomatoes. Lucy dropped the money into the red lock box and off we went!
We made it to the end of Massachusetts with the girls this summer. This was something Chloe wanted to do all year. We started out at a beach in Sandwich and decided to get in the car and keep driving. We had a great dinner on the pier and then went to the other side of town to watch the sunset. This was my favorite day of the summer so far!
Enjoy Each Moment,
Jill
Yesterday we took our annual summer outing up to York Zoo. We’ve been going up here every summer since we moved up north 5 years ago.
I’m not sure if the deer weren’t hungry or just unfriendly but the girls couldn’t get them to come any closer.
The kids always want to go on a couple of rides so they always rush us through the zoo.
No trip would be complete without a stop at a penny candy shop.
Enjoy Each Moment,
Jill
Every year we look forward to celebrating the 4th of July in this little town of ours. This year after the parade we went to a friend’s party. We had such a wonderful time with some great friends. We enjoyed the pool, a 3 legged race and a watermelon eating contest. After the party we finished off with some amazing fireworks.
I hope you all enjoyed each moment of your 4th of July Celebration!!

Summer is finally here!! We had such a nice weekend with the girls. Saturday Megan’s select chorus had a concert at the farmer’s market.
While she sang we took Lucy and Chloe to the playground for a little while and then we walked around and bought some yummy fresh veggies and organic meat. I look forward to stopping every Saturday this summer.

After the farmer’s market we rushed home to Megan’s 12th birthday party. She had her 5 best friends come a little bit earlier then the other kids to do a time capsule. It was a very sweet idea. They wrote each other letters and included some photos. Jon buried this in the backyard with an opening date of June 2018.
After the party we made some s’mores with the girls and Megan’s friend Paige.
We ended the weekend with picking raspberries before bed.

We really are enjoying all these summer moments.
I am so happy that summer is finally here! I look forward to the lazy mornings with my girls. I look forward to the heat, the pool, the beach, day trips, long weekends, Jon’s vacation, the drive in movies, the ice cream shops and picnics outside. I look forward to another old fashion country summer. I’m fortunate enough to live in a town where they do summer BIG with farmer’s markets on Saturdays, music concerts in the park on Tuesdays, ice cream socials, 4th of July parades and fireworks!
I look forward to all these things but putting Chloe on the elementary school bus this morning was really tough for me. It seems like I just put her on the kindergarten bus yesterday. I can’t believe that she will be in middle school. I wish time would slow down just a little bit.
I look forward to spending each day this summer with my girls and enjoying every moment.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Jon and I purposely didn’t answer the phone this weekend so that we could spend the “first” weekend of summer with just our family. We spent most of the time playing in the pool and cooking out. The weather couldn’t have been nicer. On Monday morning we took the girls to Heale Pond to do a little hiking. It was such a great weekend! Hoping the rest of our summer is just as lovely.
