I feel so bad when I throw Lu’s artwork away so I thought I would start posting it here.

I’ve been too busy to even think about taking out my Nikon to document these days. Life is full of sports! Lacrosse, tennis and soccer!! We’re running 7 days a week and although it’s been busy, it’s been fun! I captured a few of our moments with my iphone recently.
We’ll start with Lucy (because 90% of my photos are of Lucy).
She came down the stairs and told me that she was off to Chicago.
She’s been doing so well with her reading and writing.
I’m in love with those lashes!
We saw this big fella across the street the other morning. He was HUGE!! But so beautiful!!
So, I’ve been taking my watch dog with me when I go to the bus stop.

Lucy stayed home from school today. She sat in the chair complaining of a sore throat and stuffed up nose. So I put off all my daily plans (including volunteering) to snuggle up my Lu. We watched Frozen and read lots of books. Our morning was temporarily interrupted by a text from Emma saying she forgot her History homework. So we bundled up and ran to her school. About an hour later I got a call from the school nurse letting me know Chloe was sick. So off we went again.
…….My life as a stay at home mom……
(Wouldn’t have it any other way)

At Bahama Breeze with these girlies:
I just loved these pants and had to snap a picture:
We’re big into selfies over here:
Daisy got a haircut:
Stella didn’t recognize her at first and spent 24 hours hissing at her:
Jon spent two weeks in London this winter. He brought Lucy back this cute shirt:
She was mad at me when she got home from school that day. It was picture day and I had no idea!
I absolutely love the art work Lu does at school and I wish I could keep every piece! I take pictures of all my favorites. I think this space will be a good place to keep them.

Bake For Good
Last Friday the King Arthur Flour company went to Chloe’s school for the Bake For Good (learn bake share) project. They did an entire presentation on baking bread and then gave each 6th grader 2 bags of flower, a packet of yeast, a bread scraper and a recipe book. The assignment was to make 2 loaves of bread over the weekend. One for your family and one for the local food pantry. This was my favorite homework assignment, EVER!
(Lucy wanted in on the action too)
She did such a good job!! She even braided the breads herself. I think I have a future baker on my hands.

Our Sunday Stroll
Jon and I decided to take Chloe and Lucy for a walk through the backyard (woods) before CCD. We’ve been cooped up in the house for what seems like forever!! It was so nice getting out and getting fresh air into our lungs. We ran into what looked like the fisher cat’s den so we didn’t spend too much time out there. We saw lots of tracks that led up into the trees and lots of deer tracks.
Look at that cold little nose!
It was a gorgeous winter day but I’m still counting the days until spring!
