Lucy took that one 🙂
I got out and voted for our schools!
This was Jon’s contribution to our new chalk board this week 🙂 He’s such a great husband!
So I relaxed and enjoyed a little wine.
And bought Lucy some boots to match mine!
I love this little face!
Oh….. and I’m voting for this guy:
I love that Lucy has a friend the same age as her growing up right next door. Emma, Megan and Chloe are all so much older then her so Esme is exactly what she needs. It’s been really fun watching these 2 little girls get to know each other over the last couple of months. I love that she has someone to play babies, princesses and dress up with. I enjoy listening to their 4 year old conversations and watching them run through the backyard and up the driveway together. My hope is that they will always remain good friends and have many fun “adventures” together.
All of the supplies have been bought for school!
And we’re all stocked up on snacks and juice boxes too!!
The classroom list was posted today. I don’t know why we even bother going to look. All it does is cause tears and frustration. Ok, I didn’t really cry in front of the school again, but my friend Heather did. LOL
6 more days!!
I’m so happy they let me take their picture!!
I love these girls SO much!
I turned 36 (yikes!!) this week.
The kids love that we set the wii back up after having it unplugged for a few months.
Love this sweet profile picture of Megan
Lucy worked hard on the letter A
Relaxing with Daisy
2nd day of field hockey tryouts. This kid is exhausted!!
Only 12 more days until the girls go back to school. Even though it will be nice for everyone to get back into a routine I’m not ready for a quiet house. I do have a lot of plans for Lucy this fall, though. Since I’m not sending her to pre-school I want to make sure she knows all her letters, numbers and a few other things before she goes to kindergarten next year. Marlene picked up a bunch of preschool work books that Lucy is dying to start. Can’t you just picture her sitting at this little desk with me everyday??
Only one more year until my house is really quiet during the day and like always I’m going to Enjoy Each Moment.
We finally had the floors put in yesterday.
And some after:
Jon and his father repainted the ceiling, the walls and the wood work but I didn’t get any pictures of them doing that. 🙂 It was worth living in the mess for 3 days. I LOVE them!!! I still have some pictures to hang up and decorating to do but at least this is finished!
One of my favorite places in this town is this little farm stand on the side of the road. We stop here a couple times a week in late summer. The setting of the place is gorgeous!! Last night I needed tomatoes for my dinner so we drove by and sure enough he had a couple of baskets full of tomatoes. Lucy dropped the money into the red lock box and off we went!
The girls got to spend a couple of days with Kate and Riley this week. Tracey took Megan and Kate on a school shopping trip to the Natick Mall.
Chloe and Riley stayed with me and played American Girls for about 24 hours straight!
I can’t believe how big these girls are getting!! They’ve been friends since they were a year old!! I love the fact that even though they live almost 2 hours away from each other they remain close friends!!
Oh and here is Lucy. This is a picture she made of me. Notice the flower in my hair.
