Thanksgiving

I SHOULD be putting out my Christmas decorations right now. I always put them out the morning after Thanksgiving and the baby is sleeping right now but I don’t have the energy to go up to the crawl space and pull them out. So I thought I’d just post a few pictures from the last two days before they get lost in my camera roll.

We finally made it up to the castle this week. The view from the top is AMAZING and I’m thinking that maybe we could do our Christmas cards up there

We had dinner at my mom’s this year.

Jon loves when I take pictures of him (insert eye roll here) so I waited until he was carving the turkey to take it

After dinner and desert we went to Marlene and Brian’s for more desert. I can hardly move today, I’m still full.

Marlene tried to get a picture of the seven of us but unfortunately most of them came out like this

We managed to get one decent one

But I’m not gonna lie, I’m a little nervous about our Christmas cards this year.

Happy Thanksgiving

October is always a fun and busy month over here. Chloe wrapped up her freshman field hockey season with their pink game. It’s always a fun game to go to and it’s obviously a great cause to support

October weather is my absolute favorite so we spent a ton of time outside

The foliage was extra gorgeous this year!

We enjoyed a great visit with Tracey and the girls

Those two make great lunch dates. I have no idea what caught their attention in that first picture but it cracks me up

Megan got a terrible burn at work! An entire pot of coffee fell on her.

My poor girl needed some Starbucks to make her feel better

Cheer comps just started last weekend

Chloe did some great comic book makeup for Halloween

We took Lucy to her first Celtics game this week

And since I’m not doing an official 13 month update on Beckett….. can you believe he will be 13 months tomorrow…… here are a few pictures of him from this month

He’s such a good boy!! He still isn’t sleeping at night though. He is a busy little guy during the day. He is constantly climbing on things and still loves emptying the cabinets. He understands everything we tell him and let me just say that this little bubba LOVES to eat

Halloween

I already posted these pictures on Instagram and Facebook but wanted to make sure I brought them over here too.

Beckett made the cutest little Mickey Mouse. He happily sat in his wagon and let me pull him around all morning. Trick or treating was a different story. He was not having it at all! He screamed the entire time we were out. He even lost part of his costume while throwing a temper tantrum. I felt bad for the Gilmore family who came with us. I even left in the middle and brought Beckett home to have Chloe put him to bed. Poor baby was tired, cold and probably a little freaked out.

Lucy was the perfect Queen of Hearts. She wanted this costume last year but we couldn’t find it. As soon as we found it in September we grabbed it.

Lucy was so excited to trick or treat with her bestie.

It was a little sad not having any of the older kids with us this year. This was the first year that Chloe didn’t go out. I think she was ready to hang up that Halloween hat of hers. She really isn’t a fan at all. While we were out with the Gilmores last night we were talking about how when Beckett is ready to stop trick or treating with us, we’ll have 30+ years of trick or treating under our belts. I’m sure by then I’ll be ready to hang up my hat too, but not yet. I still LOVE this stage!
