The girls love spending time with their cousin Colton!!
The day was spent eating, serving children, watching football and playing outside. Oh and lots of deserts!!
As Thanksgiving week is starting to wind down it’s fun to look at our thankful page and see what everyone in the house is most thankful for. There is a huge variety of things from warm bathrobes to Taylor Swift to God. It makes me realize that this family is thankful for all of our blessings and as a mother and wife that makes me so happy.
I am most thankful for being a wife and mother. Being able to spend everyday with these 5 people makes me the happiest woman in the world.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Megan and I spent hours trying to get Taylor Swift tickets on Monday. Luckily Emma was here to help entertain Lucy. I looked outside and saw them playing field hockey in the driveway. Lucy still had her helmet on from riding her bike. This cracked me up!
Jon was in DC all week so we took this picture of all of us watching The Middle in bed
It was a great week. Jon got home safely from DC yesterday. I also scored some GREAT seats for the Taylor Swift show!!
I’ve spent the last 48 hours trying to get Taylor Swift tickets for Megan. Why?? Look at how excited she was last year!!
It doesn’t get much cuter then that!!
I’m sure I can get seats somewhere in the back but look at the seats from last year!!

When she drifted over our heads I thought Megan was going to have a heart attack!! I was pretty excited too. So if anyone is looking for me I will be sitting here at the computer for the next 75 hours trying my hardest to make sure that Megan and I get to experience this together again next July.
We had another busy (but fun) weekend. Saturday I took Chloe and Lucy to the movies to see Wreck it Ralph. Jon took Emma and Megan to Harvard to visit a friend. They ended up walking around Harvard Square and then they went out to lunch. This picture was taken in the Garage. We ALWAYS stop there when we’re in town.
Yesterday we finished all of our winter wood.
Then we had a yummy rib lunch:
Megan and I had a mother/daughter makeup party to go to in the afternoon:
So Jon took Emma, Chloe and Lucy to the park. Of course he took a picture of the girls for me (well trained husband)
The girls have today off for Veteran’s Day. Megan and I have been sitting on the computer since 10:00 this morning trying to get Taylor Swift tickets. We haven’t had any luck but we’re not giving up yet! I’m sure with all this technology we’ll eventually get through. Wish us luck!!
I took this picture to send to my friend Heather. I wanted her to know that she isn’t the only one failing her diet this week.
This was our drive down to see Elf the other day. It was much worse on the way home.
These two love each other!
Here is a series of pictures of Lucy playing in the snow yesterday:
It’s been a busy week and I haven’t been taking too many pictures on my phone. I’m hoping next week will be different now that this has come in:
We had a wonderful time at the Elf play last night. The drive home was a little scary with all the snow but it added to the Christmas feel.
We stopped to have dinner first at Chardonnays. Can you tell how excited they were?
The snow was really coming down!! I’m glad we didn’t notice Lucy’s hat when we took the picture. She always walks around like this and it cracks me up.
Santa was outside handing out candy canes. He also had some helpers inside handing out Macy’s bags filled with treats. It was such a great show too! Hopefully this will motivate me into getting some Christmas shopping done!!
Lucy helped Daddy clean up the yard while I went to Emily’s baby shower on Saturday
My beautiful friend Emily is having her first baby. I can’t wait to meet him or her!!
Lucy wanted to help clean up the yard after Hurricane Sandy.
Our plan is to write something every day that we are most thankful for.
We have a large piece of paper taped to our back door that we started writing things on too. I will post it once it’s filled up.
