We did a lot of playing in the snow this week. Jon must have had spring fever because he did a little bit of grilling this week too! We also spent a lot of time watching home movies with the kids. Look at the picture of Megan and Paige, they were 7!!

These pictures are great and we’re having a great winter so far but I really can’t wait to see some green in my pictures!! I can’t wait to see flowers, green trees and tank tops!! Thankfully the weather has been “warm” enough to start melting this snow. I’m ready for spring!!

Night Sledding

Lucy called Jon at work yesterday and left him the sweetest little message about taking her sledding when he got home. He ended up working late but he doesn’t say no to her too often so he took her out last night before bedtime.

I love this guy!! He’s the best daddy and husband in the whole world!

A Visit From an Old Friend

My girls think that Kristen Commodore is the best thing ever! They have been talking to her for the last couple of years over emails, tweets and Instagram. Kristen is living in Hollywood pursuing a music career. Her CD is one of their favorites! She is in town for a few weeks so she came to spend the day with us yesterday. The girls were excited to finally meet her and I loved getting to spend the day with an old friend. She brought her big makeup bag for the girls to go through. I think Megan was in makeup Heaven.

I even let her try a smokey eye on me

I’ve been sick for the past 3 days. Jon and the girls have been taking good care of me. They all went back to school and work today but I still have Nurse Lucy here. Right now I’m on the couch watching her put together her puzzle. She is such a good little girl!
