Just a few pictures from today. We got another 14 inches of snow today. That brings our total up to 48 inches!!
How many more days until spring??
My New Years resolution was to take more pictures this year. Today is the 11th and I haven’t taken my camera out once!
This morning we took the girls to TJ Maxx and Lucy fell in love with this gigantic unicorn
You could tell the woman working behind the counter got a kick out of her. She looked pretty cute walking up to the counter with a unicorn bigger than her and her Christmas money (thank you, Auntie Di)
We also played in the snow for a little while with Chloe and Lucy
Fun, but too cold!!!
Jon is leaving for London this week and Emma has to go back to College in a week so we’ve been trying to enjoy as much family time as possible. No time to take my pictures. I did snap this one at dinner tonight, though. I love that we had a dinner guest. It’s not everyday that we’re able to dine with a majestic unicorn
Thank God for iPhones!
We had such a nice Christmas this year! Jon and I spent Christmas Eve day cooking, preparing for our Christmas dinner with our family. We took the girls to 4:00 Mass and then picked up some Chinese food on the way home. It was the first time we’ve ordered out but I’m thinking it’s the start of a new tradition.
After dinner the girls exchanged their presents. Lucy gave her sisters some new sunglasses
We all got some new Christmas pajamas, settled into the living room for some pictures and then watched Christmas Vacation.

Santa was SO good to us this year!
Real good!!!
But he left the glass open all night!
Daisy was so excited about her new toy!
She wasn’t sharing!

I can’t believe another Christmas has come and gone!! Only 363 days until next Christmas!!
This is our fourth year at this farm and we’ve made some amazing memories here!
Hunting for our Christmas tree is always a lot of fun for our family (most families, I’m sure). Last years tree was teeny tiny so this year we wanted to make sure that we found one taller than Jon and I. Of course I had to stop and take some shots of the girls along the way.

After walking around in the freezing cold we decided on this great big tree! It should fit, right?
It was definitely taller than Jon and I.
Megan went looking for help for this enormous tree!
It was so nice having everyone home that weekend to decorate the tree together.

The finished tree! See, it hardly fits in the shot! This is the biggest tree we’ve had in years, it’s as crooked as all our trees from years past but I love it!
These are our two new ornaments. Every time we go on vacation I like to take home an ornament as a reminder of a great trip. However, these are from Potterybarn, not London.

I haven’t posted anything here since Halloween!! What?? We’ve been so busy this month that I rarely took my camera out. We did our usual November activities, including our thankful tree. This year the leaves on the branches weren’t as thick. Not that we didn’t have as much to be thankful for but because Emma’s been away just about all month (with a few quick visits here and there) and Jon’s been in London for most of the month. I HAD to jump in here to post our family photo from yesterday. It was great spending the holiday with my parents, brothers and all these kids!
Looking forward to taking down the Thanksgiving decorations tomorrow and putting up the Christmas ones.
We went on our annual hayride this weekend. Seems a little different going as a family of 4 instead of as a family of 6. It was still fun though. The girls picked out their pumpkin and we grabbed some freshly backed cookies from inside the shop.

We’re getting ready to trick or treat! Unfortunately, Megan has a game tonight so she won’t be coming along. Not to mention that she’s 14 and too old to trick or treat. It’s still sad though. I wish her and Emma were still little enough to go out with us.

Lucy and Chloe are both getting excited to get out there! Honestly, Chloe is looking forward to getting it over so we can start listening to Christmas music.
Happy Halloween!!
